How can I make a beaver lure without use of castor glands,into a 330 conibear?
I want to try to catch a problem beaver in a pond with no real good place to set trap naturally, so I want it to come to the trap
Is the beaver lodge dwelling or bank dwelling? That could determine where you set your 330.
If you can’t find the entrance to the den (which really shouldn’t be that hard), you need to scout around. The beaver is coming on shore somewhere, in order to cut wood. You’ll see a slide-like cut in the shoreline where they do that.
Frankly, I would prefer using either #4 Victors or #5 Bridgers and a drowning set under those conditions, but the coniberar will work.
