Steel Traps and Trapping for Pleasure and Profit
If you have ever participated the setting of Steel Traps there is an appeal or passion which comes over them each autumn about the time of the first frosts. The only cure seems to be a few weeks on the trap line.

Nor is the actual value of the raw fur catch, but may easily exceed 100 million dollars yearly. Is it any wonder then that so many want to know more about Steel Traps and Trapping?

At lot of this information is available in old out of print books which you may find online or in your local library.
Steel Traps are superior to Snares or Deadfalls due to the fact that they can he used for both land and water trapping while Snares and Deadfalls are adapted to Land
Trapping only. In addition steel traps can be used over and over again.
